This unassuming offering shows a decent cab-like nose, with blackberry, black currant, fruit leather, and twinges of iodine, mint, and cedar. The palate shows a firm acidity bite, mild tannins and black current/blackberry flavour. Medium body and length. A "cheap and cheerful" wine that would work any night of the week. Think of an everyday chianti and serve it alongside spaghetti, pizza or anything grilled. (LCBO 235671)
