The nose here shows juicy black cherry, mint, and dark chocolate with traces of spice and vegetal. The palate is also juicy, with the merest trace of sweetness in the fruit, delicate tannins, and plum, cherry and dried raspberry flavours. Very good body and length. This one is a crowd pleaser and would work well with a wide variety of red meat dishes, pork or chocolate. (LCBO 594127)

I have to admit that I haven't tried the wine yet as it is only available in a few LCBO stores in Ontario. After seeing yours and another review, I was prompted to order it directly from Vineland Estates. To make a long story short, I can hardly wait!! This is the winner of best Cab Franc at the recent Cuvee awards. The winery estimates that they will be sold out of the 2005 vintage by May 2007 so get it while you can!!
